The Boston University Online Program for Financial Planners, developed in partnership with Boston Institute of Finance, is the 21st Century version of one of the nation's oldest classroom-based programs for financial planners. Students who complete the program will fulfill Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) requirements for instruction leading up to the CFP® Certification Examination.
The Program consists of six courses:
- Introduction to Financial Planning
- Risk Management
- Investments
- Tax Planning
- Retirement and Employee Benefit Planning
- Estate Planning
