What is CMFS?
The National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA) awards this designation to investment practitioners who complete this self-study program consisting of 3 modules and final examination on different mutual fund topics. The program represents the next generation of industry education, introducing a flexible approach to both educate and cross train employees in a broad spectrum of industry disciplines. Professionals with this designation provide mutual fund advice to clients. Having the CMFS designation will set you apart from your peers in the mutual funds industry and provide recognition among 400 member companies of NICSA. Your expertise will increase the client's confidence in you and will result in more and greater sales.

How does the program work?
All you need is a computer and an Internet connection. First, visit the Certified Mutual Fund Specialist Program enrollment page and sign up by creating your account. You will receive an e-mail confirmation within a few minutes. Next log on access the premium materials you have purchased. The program is accessible for three months from date of purchase.
