MSCEIT Assessment

The MSCEIT (pronounced Mus keet) Assessment is an “ability-based measure” of Emotional Intelligence. It focuses on these four key areas:

  • Perceive emotions accurately
  • Use emotions to help you think
  • Understand emotions and their causes
  • Manage emotions to make optimal decisions

Once you have an understanding of the cognitive and emotional biases of investors and how emotions play into the decision making process, you will have an opportunity to learn about your own Emotional Intelligence by taking the MSCEIT. This assessment measures your capacity to recognize and use emotional information effectively and gauges your ability to accurately identify another person’s emotions. The MSCEIT is included in your program and is taken online, after your final exam.

After completing the assessment, you will receive a 12-page personalized report detailing your emotional strengths and areas for development, compared to an international normative population of over 5000 respondents. This report, in conjunction with your personal, 1-hour debrief by a certified specialist from Dynamic Perspectives, Inc. will provide strategies and ideas to help you incorporate the knowledge of your own emotional intelligence into your business conversations.
